Saldutti Law Group, a leading creditors’ rights firm, announced the appointment of Thomas B. O’Connell, Esq. as partner. Mr. O’Connell works in the firm’s Philadelphia and Cherry Hill offices and concentrates his practice in complex commercial litigation and creditor rights. A New Jersey native, he first joined the firm as an Associate in March 2009.
Mr. O’Connell’s promotion is in response to his unprecedented growth and commitment to the firm. “Tom is an established attorney with extensive trial work and tremendous legal skills,” said Robert Saldutti, principal. “He is an amazing asset to our team.”
Mr. O’Connell received his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law, where he was a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship Fund and served as Articles Editor for the Rutgers Law Journal. During his time at Rutgers, Mr. O’Connell worked with both the Honorable Pamela Dembe, First Judicial District of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia as well as the Rutgers-Camden School of Law Civil Practice Clinic. In addition, he served as an Ethics Analyst for the Office of Attorney Ethics of the Supreme Court of New Jersey in Trenton. Upon graduating from Rutgers, Mr. O’Connell received a judicial clerkship to the Appellate Division serving for the Honorable Joseph F. Lisa of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Mr. O’Connell is bilingual and has studied the Spanish language extensively abroad at the University of Valencia, Spain.
